As I canoed up the overflowing Afon Llwyd River laden down with more Kings prizes than you could shake a stick at the clouds parted and the rain gods took the moisture north to those leagues less fortunate than ours to leave us with a clear night.
After an excellent round 1 my expectations were high as I returned to Pontypool for the second round of the Great Western League.

Alongside the Luxury coaches of Bristol, Exeter and Cardiff were parked a couple of VW Camper vans bursting with bikini clad surf babes, it was good to see Plymouth were back.
