Midlands League Introduction

league_logo_MThe midlands league, home to the infamous Brumski, have spent the last few years at the Ackers dry slope near Birmingham after Swadlincote was resurfaced with snowflex making turning somewhat trickier. Since most of the skiers have now mastered the art of turning we have decided to make things a bit more challenging by returning to Swadlincote for the first race of the season!

Expect dramas and delights as teams try to challenge Brumski’s ski/board/girl triple league wins last year. If you fancy an alternative challenge you may choose to see if you out-drink them; close contenders last year were Nottingham Trent, Aston and Derby with the mighty Warwick greatly increasing their chances if this year they stay until the racing’s finished. In true Kings fashion the midland league promotes extra curricular activities whilst racing including the addition of ridiculous clothing and the then removal of this clothing, all being awarded with the usual high quality beverages the midlands attendees have come to know and love.

Fancy Dress??

What??? Yes, its true... we really don't take the racing 100% seriously (it's fun after all) - so even if you've never raced before, you could still win prizes or raise a few laughs by turning up at our events in costume!
