This year up north there has been a bit of a change as we have merged the North’s West & East Leagues together. This means we will now have one race in Sunderland and Rossendale with two races in Sheffield so expect increased competition, more atmosphere and best of all a couple extra bottles of Labrini.

The midlands league, home to the infamous Brumski, have spent the last few years at the Ackers dry slope near Birmingham after Swadlincote was resurfaced with snowflex making turning somewhat trickier. Since most of the skiers have now mastered the art of turning we have decided to make things a bit more challenging by returning to Swadlincote for the first race of the season!

Kings Western League have nick-named themselves the Great Western League having won 5 of the Last 8 National Titles. The region which covers Wales and the South West of England has been dominated by Bristol University Ski Club which is the most successful Club in Kings Ski Club 30 year History.

The London and Southern League is the largest of the Kings leagues, with nearly 30 mixed teams and around 10 ladies and 10 snowboard teams every year, making the competition intense. With 5 different league winners in the last 5 years it is always an open competition, and the decider always seems to go down to the last race of the season.
