As we commence with our 30th season, we look forward to another year of great competition in a slightly altered league format. The credit crunch has been as harsh with us as with just about everyone, and so we've decided to rationalise our race structure by combining the former North East and North West leagues to a single Northern League.

This is the first time we've tried combining leagues, and we hope it'll prove both efficient and fun. It's not a decision we've taken lightly... its designed to ease the strain on budgets and also on the officials infrastructure. If it works - then we'll all be happy. If not then we'll review the decision, but for now let's give it a go.
