I act as Treasurer for the club, which essentially involves chasing all you lot for your race and affiliation fees (believe me this is no easy task!), paying all the officials their expenses and settling invoices from the slopes we use and other suppliers. The club’s annual turnover is around £50k so it’s a reasonable amount of work on top of the day job. I’ve been involved in Kings since I was at Uni in Coventry 1992-96 and raced in their 2nd team. I was also an official in the L&S league for 3 or 4 years before taking over the Treasurer role from Nick Vine who’d been doing it since 1890 and wanted a break!
